Why this blog?

I’ve been playing games for a long time.  I also run a Game Club at the high school that I teach at and I spend a lot of time teaching games to other people. I have a lot of thoughts about game design, game tactics, and teaching games, but I don’t really have an audience for it.  Some people who read this may be interested in the very random musings I publish here.  Many people will care less.  That’s ok. My goal here is to reach an audience of one: me.  I’m not trying to exclude other people.  You’re welcome to read and comment.  I just think that, for most people, my personal thoughts about gaming just won’t be very interesting to them.  That’s ok.  There’s going to be a lot of thinking about numbers and probabilities here.  There will be lots of posts about optimal tactics and configurations.  I may bring video games into the fray. I’m not really sure.  We’ll see what happens.
