Making Mechs Part 5

In the introduction to this short series, I explained that in preparation for an upcoming game I have been making a lot of Mechs with the construction rules found in the Tech Manual and the special rules found in Tactical Operations.

Here’s today’s Mech:

The goal for the Armadillo was to make an affordable Mech with excellent damage potential.  I was a little short on tonnage, so I went with two tons of slug rounds and only a single ton of cluster rounds, because I imagine needing more of the higher damage penetration rather than the crit seeking.  At 1,000 BV, the price is right for a 50 ton Mech with large damage possibility.
