3000 BV Point for Battletech Option 2

We’re planning for our next Battletech game!  The rough guidelines are:

1) 3000 BV

2) Two Mechs

3) Modified BV cost by Mechwarrior Skill (as per Tech manual rules)

4) Virtually anything goes with tech.  We’re trying to test out a variety of Tac Ops rules in this game.

The following Mechs don’t add up to 3000 BV, but are my attempts to really explore some devastating Mechs with Clan Tech.

My goal for the Bengal was to create a real tiger of a Mech.  I started building it with mixed tech, and as I did so I began to realize that Inner Sphere PPCs were going to be too expensive with too many crit slots to work with what I wanted to do.  So, I switched it to an entirely Clan base.  That meant that normal PPCs were not an option and I had to upgrade to ER PPCs.  That meant less movement and more heat sinks.  The Streak SRMs provide a nice short range punch to complement the PPCs when enemy Mechs close in.  The Mech is more expensive than I intended, really limiting my second Mech for the 3000 BV battle, but I may be able to find a good Light to complement it.

The North Wind is what I would consider near to the ultimate harassing Light Mech.  Fast, mobile, and with lots of heavy crit-seek potential with five ER Small Lasers.  Once again, pretty expensive for a Light, but likely worth that cost.

Together, these two total more than 3000BV, but I can rearrange with other Mechs to find a combo I like.
