Lamy Safari Mechanical Pencil Video Review

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWgr_5IlQFI

The Lamy Safari is a great everyday use pencil that boasts sturdy construction and a great grip.  Its limitations are in its limited features, but the rest of the package makes up for it.

Pros: Solid construction, great grip, retractable, modern styling

Cons: The eraser is proprietary and small

Writing Experience:  Great (ergonomic and secure)

Quality: Good+ (solid construction, reliable pocket clip)

Features: OK+ (retractable sleeve, but eraser knocks it back down)

Cost: Moderate (21 USD Amazon, 23 USD Jetpens)

Top Ten?  Yes.  I’m putting it at #10, in place of the Uni Shift Pipe-lock, which I’ve had an inkling would be supplanted soon.  The Uni Shift deserves a place on the Honorable Mentions.  It will replace the Tombow Mono Graph Shaker.  The Tombow Mono Graph is a good pencil for the cost, but its quality sets it out of league with many other pencils.
