The OHTO Horizon appears at first glance to be a uniquely-designed, great-featured pencil, but it disappoints.
Writing Experience: Good
Quality: OK+ (only because of metal construction)
Cost: Moderate (10-15 USD from CultPens, also available from Amazon)
Pros: Auto lead advance and retractable sleeve, shiny metal exterior in good-looking colors.
Cons: Terrible eraser dock and eraser, eraser cap tough to pull off, lead advances uncontrollably while erasing, huge amount of lead extended with click of mechanism, overcosted for what it is.
Just don’t buy it unless you’re looking to complete your collection.
The video also includes a vintage transparent blue Quicker Clicker I picked up from eBay and a lovely lime green Sharp P205 I ordered from South Korea.
