MUJI Aluminum Pocket Pencil Video Review

The MUJI Pocket Pencil is a lightweight, thin, easy to carry piece that competes well with other capped pencils like the Pentel Sharp Kerry.

Pros: Lightweight, thin, sturdy metal construction, compact, metal clutch

Cons: Metal-on-metal pieces tend to unscrew, small eraser accessed through many-turn screw top, variable clutch that doesn’t always advance lead precisely

Writing Experience: Good

Quality: Good

Features: Good

Cost: Moderate (15 USD Amazon)

It’s good.  Not great.  It does deserve an Honorable Mention and will be replacing the vintage steel Parker Jotter on my Honorable Mentions list.  That’s tough, but this is a better buy, IMO.
